XTM QA Manager
The XTM QA Manager helps you ensure your translations are of the highest quality. While you translate XTM QA Manager works in the background highlighting any errors. Clicking on an error allows you to select a correction from the list provided. There are two modules in XTM QA Manager: spell checking and quality checking. .
The XTM - Spellchecker is an enterprise level spellchecker system written in Java. It is intended to be integrated with a web based translation environment and is implemented as a stand alone web service which can be accessed from the client’s application by sending and receiving XML documents. XML-INTL Spellchecker makes use of multilingual dictionaries covering over 60 languages, but also allows users to create their own custom dictionaries.
Any misspelled words are highlighted in yellow. When the user selects this word they can either choose one of the suggested words from a pop up list or add the word to a dictionary.
Users are able to:
- correct the misspelled word
- replace the misspelled word with a different one
- add a new word to the default dictionary
- add a new word to different dictionaries
The XTM QA Manager checks the following:
- full spell check of the translated text unit
- identical source and target
- sequences of spaces in text
- sequences of punctuation characters such as .,'; greater than two characters
- number of opening and closing brackets
- incorrect sentence end like xxx.Xxx.
- missing spaces after punctuation marks
- spaces before punctuation marks
- trailing tabs and spaces
- missing numeric values in target
- numbers inside words
- unreachable domains
- mistakes in URL address
- incorrect URLs
