Author-it's import functionality makes it easy to migrate a wide range of file types and transfer documents written outside Author-it into a content library. No knowledge of coding or special skills is required and documents are automatically separated into components ready for maximum reuse. Having all your content accessible and editable in one area provides substantial cost reduction and improves work efficiency.

The importer can be run in either fully automatic or manual mode. In the fully automatic mode you simply choose the files you want to import and click Start. The manual mode allows a preview prior to completing the import.
